Seal the wefts of your extensions. Hair is sewn together with thread improper instillation can cause damage to the wefts and cause hair to shed more than usual. Sealing the wefts and proper instillation will reduce shedding altogether.
COLOR TREATMENT
Use a Sulfate-Free shampoo and conditioner on your extensions. This will keep extensions looking healthy. Most shampoos have the sulfate in them and this strips the hair of all the oil making hair look dull and dry. You also want to give your extensions and your natural hair a deep conditioning treament once you take down your extensions.
STYLE YOUR HAIR DAILY
With Proper care your extensions can last up to 1yr maybe even more. Sewin extensions should remain in your head for 4-8weeks. They can sometimes go longer but this may cause damage on your natural hair.
